Wouter van Voorst; the best of both worlds of the Catholic and Protestant churches

Eindhoven pastor Catholic

"I discovered the Catholic Church as a beautiful cathedral. Even though I realize that many Catholics do not get much further than the vestibule." Words of Wouter van Voorst (1981) who grew up within the Reformed Congregation of Eindhoven.
He studies theology and becomes a pastor within the Protestant Church Netherlands. To prepare for the commemoration of 500 years of the Reformation in 2017, he studies the differences with the Catholic Church. To his surprise, he gets along very well with Catholic doctrine. So much so that he becomes a Catholic, without giving up the richness of his Protestant past in return.
Van Voorst combines the best of both worlds and is therefore the man to remove prejudices of both sides and share the richness of both.
